The UltaMid 2 Half Insert with a bathtub-style Dyneema® Composite Fabrics floor is ideal for solo adventurers, providing bug-free comfortable sleep on one side of the tent. Use the other side to protect and store all of your gear on dry ground or on our Ground Cloth if moisture is a concern. The Half Insert is also an excellent option for separating filthy gear from your somewhat less filthy sleep system or clothes. UltaMid 2 Half Insert
Great
No pockets?
Lightweight and spacious. The half insert turns the Ultamid 2 into a palace for 1. The DCF tub floor is tough and gives me peace of mind when pitching on rocky terrain. For the price it would have been nice to have a gear net in the top for your headlamp or a pocket on the side for your phone. Quality construction and have no regrets.
After the first night.
My first night in the tent was great.
But I think you should have a bit thicker material in the inner tent. At least windproof.
I set it up after dark and it took on the nerves to find a way for the guylines on the top of the inner tent through the small and narrow loops in the top of outer tent.
Winter hiking is my life
I have to be honest with you I haven’t had a chance to use it yet but boy is it nice I really like it it’s light it’s just right thank you so much and the 44 ice pack I’m in it right now ha ha ha thank you
