Product Reviews and Questions
The perfect pack!
I can’t say enough good things about this pack. Being a smaller person the weight of the empty pack makes a HUGE difference. I have done the Camino De Santiago twice with this pack and it was perfect for the long walk/hike with plenty of room to carry all my gear.
Daybreak pack
I love this pack. It carries nicely and has room enough for what I need.
Great all-around pack
5/5 super versatile backpack. This pack is truly the jack of all trades. I use it as my daily carry primarily but also use it for dayhikes and for travel. The pack holds everything I need for activities ranging from work to 2-3 day trips.
For travel, I recently used it for a short 3-day trip abroad as my only bag and it exceeded expectations. I carried some clothes, sandals, toiletries, a Katadyn BeFree + bottle, a book and a charger for my phone... all zero problems. The same pack has gone on dayhikes up into the hills and in the snow.
For dayhikes, I'm able to easily store a small ditty bag (first aid kit, knife, etc), a quick shelter (Z-Packs Hexamid Pocket Tarp), stakes, small foam pad, raingear, fleece/poofy coat, smartwater bottle with filter, Camera, and food. I still have plenty of room to add more dayhike items if needed.
The pack's two external water bottle pockets will take most water bottles. The front pouch is really functional and can hold a lot. I've loaded individual items such as sandals, raingear, and fleece jacket into the front pouch with no issues.
The internal laptop sleeve is beefy enough and can accommodate a 13" laptop. My only knock against it (and it is small) is the internal zipper pocket is small. It holds sunglasses and that's about it.
Daybreak Daypack is Awesome!
I've used the daybreak pack on several long day hikes. It is so light and comfortable! It's perfect for me since I don't use a bladder - the pockets hold my water bottles well and I can reach them without taking it off. I haven't tested the waterproofing yet but it seems like it would work well. So far I haven't had a problem with it making my back too hot and sweaty due to the fabric. It met all my expectations. I'm really happy with my purchase.
Great daypack!
Plenty of room for a Hyperlite Pod, layers, water, sit pad and 10 essentials. Use it on half day hikes.
