The 40-Degree Quilt features baffles loaded with 1000 fill power RDS certified down that provides a dreamy loft and consistent warmth in a wide variety of conditions. The generous sizing allows plenty of room to dial in the right amount of coverage for the conditions outside, and the sewn foot box keeps drafts at bay so you can fall asleep and stay asleep through the night. Just to keep the unmatched stoke going that can only come from finally drifting off, the durable 7d micro ripstop nylon exterior shell is luxurious to the touch and sewn up to provide comfort and reliability for countless trips to come.

Product Reviews and Questions
Perfect
Perfect mid season quilt.
Nice!
This quilt is great! I chose this quilt for two reasons: I trust Hyperlite Mountain gear products to be of the highest quality, and this quilt has little loops for attaching pad straps in addition to the clips that attach to the provided pad straps. This allows me to clip the quilt closed for cold nights, while still being able to use some pad straps I already had to keep the quilt in place.
Fantastic. Get one for yourself.
Quite possibly the best quilt I’ve ever had the pleasure of owning. I’ve used it 3 nights so far and even though I haven’t hit the lower temperature range as of yet, I’ve slept quite comfortably on 60deg nights. The included Side Pod is a nice addition in protecting the 7 denier shell and packing my kit efficiently. I’m really happy with the 1000fill. It’s super cozy and does great for weight saving. As with most quilts, I’m sure that the temperature rating is a bit conservative and it could possibly be pushed a little lower with the addition of appropriate clothing. When the autumn temps hit, I’ll be sure to put it through more testing and adventures. I’ve waited a long time for HMG to produce a quilt like this to complete my system. I’m really happy I took the plunge on a preorder.
